You will need brown lentils, onions, garlic, tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper. First, cover the lentils with cold water and then heat it up and bring it to boil.

Drain the water from the pan and repeat process now adding the garlic, onion, tomatoes, olive oil, and oregano. Simmer until the lentils become soft.

Remove it from the heat and then blend, blend just enough to make it just the right consistency, not too smooth. Lastly, season it for flavor.
