Know The Reality Of UFO!

As the mankind gazed into the cosmos on many cold nights, the question was the same -   Is there Life Out there? It is one of the elemental questions of mankind, as many philosophers, scientists and writers have pondered this issue for many centuries.

In many science fiction novels ever since the 18th century, writers have explored the possibility of life in outer space.

Besides the theme of love, one of the most popular themes in Hollywood Movies has been the possibility of life in Outer Space and mainly UFOs.

What is UFO?

First of all, a UFO means Unidentified Flying Object.  This is something that means the object is Unidentified, so it doesn’t mean that a UFO is a flying saucer.  Unfortunately, the word UFO has been associated with flying saucers albeit mistakenly.  Most of the UFOs that people report are usually very simple objects.

Simple things like weather balloons, artificial low orbiting satellites, planes and even the moon can be thought as a UFO under the proper conditions.

For example, in the case of a weather balloon, the outer metallic foils that allow the balloon to perform its function can reflect light at night.  Also since winds may take the balloons on various trajectories, it is always possible to mistake a weather balloon at night for a UFO.

Even the moon can be mistaken for a UFO.  For example, at the night of the full moon look carefully at the moon as you are driving in a car.  You will feel as if the moon is following you.  This is an optical illusion and unfortunately, many people have fallen for it.

Of course, many official investigations have been launched to see and analyze the possibility of life in Outer Space.  The famous project Blue Book of the US Air Force and the SETI program of NASA are very good examples of this work.

With the project SETI (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence), NASA scientists are trying to send signals into the outer space and listening to see if there are any replies.  For this purpose, big huge microwave satellite dishes are used, which are of hundreds of meters in diameter.

In the Project Blue Book, the US Air Force has investigated all leads of avenue on radar sighted UFO.  Unfortunately till date, no real proof for the possibility of Extra Terrestrial Life and the Existence of a UFO as a Spaceship has been found.  Of course, mankind wants to believe that he is not alone in the universe.  However until some real proof can be found, we should not think that every Frisbee is a flying saucer.

This is also one of the main controversies of the question of UFO – Why is there no other shape besides the flying saucer of a UFO?  Although some amateur hobbyists will proclaim that a saucer shaped craft can glide easily in the atmosphere, it must not be forgotten that if extra terrestrial life forms exist, they wouldn’t come from the next block, but they would come from hundreds of light years away.

So, it would be ridiculous to think that they would employ such basic means of transportation when they have to cross vast distances.  Any professional engineer can demonstrate that the saucer shape is the worst possible shape to cross over such long distances.

Perhaps in time the question of UFO can be answered with clarity.  However, until that time comes we should keep our facts straight and evaluate UFOs with science and not with our feelings.
