One of the commercial opportunities in space is unfortunately the Real Estate Business.  It is unfortunate as such a feasible opportunity has been defiled by opportunistic people.  So far there are two companies that are on the frontier for selling plots of land from the Moon.

One company is selling plots of land for $20 an acre while the other company is charging $1000 for 10 hectares.  In fact, you are able to get titles and deeds for the purchases that you have made.  These companies are claiming ownership of the Moon under various legal technicalities and under the provisions of the United Nations Treaty.

Although the Space Real Estate Business is a commercially feasible opportunity, tricking the public with false claims can damage this business when it becomes a reality.
